Sarf

Sarf

The Arabic language has a very organized system of derivation. It is imperative to engage in the study of tasreef in order to become thoroughly familiar with the Arabic word and the nuances of its meaning. Tasreef is the foundation a student first establishes in his quest for mastery of the Arabic language. With careful study, memorization and practice, a strong knowledge of the Arabic word is an objective well within reach. With this foundation the study of syntax or Nahw, the next level of grammar, will be made easier. With these two branches of grammar, a stūdent can gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Arabic language.
